KWK Staszic, Katowice, Poland
Modernization and restructuring of the Steam Coal Preparation
Plant. Modernization completed utilizing United States manufactured
processing equipment, procured under an ECOFUND Grant. Conceptual
engineering as well as 'turnkey' project execution was performed
by Roberts & Schaefer Company, based in Chicago, USA. Separator
RS, based in Gliwice, Poland, executed detail engineering
(formerly Separator-Tech). This was the first instance of
ECOFUND grant applied to the coal industry in Poland.
